“ Excellent! I highly recommend this place. Everything was great, with the beef empanada and the tres leches among some of the best I’ve had. The corn-based empanada had a crispy crackly crust, almost as if it were coated in corn flakes. The tres leches was just about perfect. The cake is trickier than it looks. It needs to be absorbent without turning mushy, sturdy yet not tough. Mis Raices nailed it. Even though lots of places in the area sell tres leches, the one at Mis Raices is a tier above the rest. ”
